This is an informal gathering for beginners and those interested in their own personal growth and development of their employee's potential and engagement in the workplace.

Responsible for coaching and developing leaders for the purpose of succession planning and optimum performance. Worked closely with the General Manager to diagnose and create plans to bridge leadership gaps in the center. Served as coach, mentor, executive coach, facilitator and trainer of leadership competencies and principles. Partnered closely with the site Human Resources Manager to support and also develop the highest leadership levels, starting with Team and Support Managers through General Manager. Focused on leadership development activities primarily directed to the development of the senior leadership in the center, Team Manager, Support Manager, AD and GM. Supported IDP/Career Planning efforts for Team managers and above.Worked closely with the GM on center-specific leadership gaps utilizing enterprise leadership development resources as well as pulling from the body of OD knowledge to develop an appropriate development plan. Served as executive coach to GM and Associate Director.

Managed the day-to-day operations of a Sylvan Learning Center, including responsibility over P&L controls, hiring staff, and optimizing the sales process, the curriculum delivery, and the marketing activities to schools and surrounding community.Monitor and track Center performance, revenues, expenses, and fee collection.Selected, trained, and managed Center employees (instructors, Director(s) of Education, and other Center staff).Established and maintained collaborative relationships with teachers, educational specialists and other school administrators and parent/teacher organizations.

Part of the start up team for new customer call center in the area. Trainer for front-line customer service reps, quickly became supervisor of the team of trainers, and shortly there after, promoted to Training Manager. Hired and inspired a team of 12 fledgling trainers responsible for producing high-quality customer bilingual service representatives in a fast paced environment. Developed, implemented, and delivered a Supervisory Development program for first time people managers quickly promoted from within. Worked closely with Operational team to leverage the training department to help meet quality, service, and sales goals resulting in unprecedented achievement for a start up call center.
