Her payroll career spans more than 25 years with companies, such as Davenport, ADP, Mays & Valentine, Troutman Sanders, Carpenter Company and Citizens Financial. Sandra received her AAS in Accounting from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Sandra has served on the Board of Director’s of the Richmond Chapter of the American Payroll Association from 1998 to 2015.. Sandra has been a member of National APA since 1999. Sandra obtained her Certified Payroll Professional designation in 1999. Sandra has served as President, President Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Membership Director, Webmaster and Director of Professional Development during her 15 years of service. Sandra founded the Richmond Chapter Payroll Hall of Fame in 2008. Sandra also served on the Virginia Statewide Payroll Conference committee for over 5 years, as Secretary, Vendor & Sponsor Chair and Registration.Sandra was named the Virginia Payroll Professional of the Year by the Virginia State Payroll Conference in 2009. Sandra was inducted into the Payroll Hall of Fame in 2009 for 10 year’s Board of Director’s Service.
