Investment Controller • Reported to CFO and Head of Asset Management Asia Pacific, and led a finance team to provide finance, accounting, and operation reporting in accordance with MSREF requirements and PRC requirements, and monitor tax services for 30 deals and investments in China.• Established and periodically updated and reviewed the business plan and equity valuation model for more than 20 deals in China.• Managed the funding process and cash repatriation process between the fund and the invested companies through various channels.• Led the annual audit in accordance with PRC GAAP and US GAAP conversion and PRC tax filing and subsidy application, and supported fund managers for US tax filing.• Worked closely with local JV partners who managed the investments/properties to provide financial and asset management reporting and analysis to the fund managers. • Designed the management control mechanism to ensure that the JV companies comply with the fund and corporate policy and standards, including revenue collection and expense payment etc.Major Achievements and Projects• Built the finance team in MSP Shanghai and implemented the investor reporting procedures.• Successfully drove the year-end audit for more than 20 projects with AuM around USD1.5 billion in China and delivered the audited reports within sixty days after year-end.
