About Sandra Wright Ma, Mft

I have extensively worked with children and their families for 19 years in providing crisis management and family counseling. I'm the founder of Break The Silence Movement, a non profit created to provide counseling, teaching, outreach and guidance for people affected by the trauma of childhood sexual abuse. Our goal is to educate the world on the devastating effects that childhood sexual abuse has on individuals and the lifelong effects on the brain and the body. We have expanded to include RUBIES Mentoring Program that has been in effect for two years. We mentor Elementary and Middle School girls working with 19 active mentees. In a perfect world we would eradicate childhood sexual abuse, but we can't. Therefore, we will continue to raise our voices and advocate on behalf our most vulnerable.
