My career started in the HR department of a Croatian factory. I was encouraged to improve the working processes in the department and digitalise record keeping, because of my interest for databases, finance and IT, which I also kept doing on my next position in the same firm, as payroll officer.In between there was an interesting stint at a penitentiary where I was working as records officer. Besides that, I was content-managing a website of a small accounting association.My journey continued in an international law firm. Working in an international setting which continually invested in education of employees was a step forward for me. The collaboration with other EU offices of the firm offered me to practice my professional english and polish my native german communication skills as well as event management experience. Which brings me where I am now – starting from scratch in a law firm in 2017. I was offered to organise Operations of the office. I had a chance to form internal processes independently, to use my creativity in order to form a new firm from the inside, work on corporate rules, the environment, financial databases and statistics and the IT solutions with complete freedom and to keep managing the office after that.Today, my task is to take care of costs and finances, report to the management, search for upgrades in work processes and IT solutions and making sure the support team is efficient. I now have 15 years of experience in various departments, from HR and finance positions in big factories to office management in domestic and international law offices. Privately, I am a fun-loving person who loves horseback riding.
