At each building I supervised SLPA or SLP/para.I case managed up to 30 Speech Language only students. Preformed screenings and full evaluations. Attended IEP meetings and facilitated the Speech Only student IEP meetings.Attended weekly Sped PLC meetings as well as Speech Language PLCs. Assisted at the Fun Run and Field Days. Contract Travel Speech Language Pathologist Position working in Accomack County Public Schools at Pungoteague Elementary School located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in the town of Melfa and is part of the Accomack County Public Schools. Student ages 2-12 diverse caseload of general English speakers, Creole, Spanish, speakers (bilingual and monolingual), migrant worker population, - Students had various disabilities that impact language and speech development. - Enhance learning with ASL, AAC, computer technology, art, science hands-on learning, drill and practice skill development. - Currently provide speech language services for up to 95 students. In addition to direct speech language support, created teacher and parent input forms for use in IEPs, set-up and facilitate IEP Team Meetings, Designee Chairperson for eligibility, annual review and Re-evaluation meetings, Direct Case Manager for 22 students, write student plan of therapy forms, daily logs, progress reports every 4.5 weeks, create own materials to teach a variety of speech and language skills, am part of the 'Bobcat Sacks' Team that organizes and distributes sacks to students in need twice a month.
