I am a Tax Partner with EY who leads the Insurance Tax practice within the Financial Services Organisation. I have more than 20 years’ experience advising domestic and international insurance companies on structuring and Irish tax matters. I have assisted many international insurance companies to establish operations in Ireland to sell into the EU.My experience includes international tax structuring, cross-border planning, global tax minimisation strategies and assisting clients in overseas markets. I have conducted a number of balance sheet reviews, for major international groups, from a tax perspective for the purposes of conversion to IFRS, US GAAP and Canadian GAAP.
