• Performed routine chemical analysis of various food, feed and fertilizer commodities for compliance with federal and state regulations regarding quality, safety and labeling requirements including the analysis of Aflatoxin, Vomitoxin, and Zearalenone in feeds by ELISA, protein/nitrogen determination in food/feed/fertilizer products using combustion analysis techniques, as well as potash determination in fertilizers. • Prepared and analyzed various food, feed and fertilizer samples, interpreted and reported data. Improved and modified existing methods including the redevelopment of a fiber analysis in feeds method.• Operated, calibrated and maintained laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation including Nitrogen-Protein Analyzer (LECO). • Performed proficiency samples received from various sources such as AAFCO, FAPAS and Magruder monthly.
