Sandy Wirth is an experienced education administrator with a passion for student success, and extensive experience in student retention, intercultural communication, organizational leadership and development, data driven decision making, strategic planning, and team building. She has more than 25 years of professional experience in the field of Independent School Education and Higher Education. She has worked at four different independent schools, Quinnipiac University, Goodwin College and Mitchell College in New London, where she held the title of Vice President of Student Affairs/Dean of Students. Sandy’s research interests include student retention, college readiness, and international student transition issues. She earned her Ed.D. from the University of Delaware, her Masters of Arts in Education Administration from Villanova University and her Bachelor of Science from Ursinus College.Sandy has presented extensively on such topics as student retention, cultural intelligence and cultural issues related to Asian student success and retention.
