I built a comprehensive system to provide data-driven design process, rules and reviews for MEMS packages. Engaged and educated suppliers to maintain cost effectiveness and continued innovation. As Principal Design Engineer, reporting to the Manager of Package Design, I applied diverse engineering skill set to solve complex engineering problems. Led design and prototyping of mechanical and acoustical packaging for MEMS microphones, including filing patent applications that resulted in significant growth opportunities. Increased design wins and market share at top cell phone and lap top manufacturers, ensured new business and platform proliferation by coordinating integration of factory and supplier capabilities and improving metrics in electrical and acoustical performance. Assessed product and company wide technical risks and developed mitigation plans.

Led product team in design, development and production release of two new polymer based Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) Surface Mount Devices (SMD) manufactured using Printed Circuit Board (PCB) processes. Developed validation plan for raw materials and batches of polymer composite material (including density, viscosity, percent solids and particle size measurements).
