***I am now managing my own farm in Italy. Yes, I went from pharma to... farm. This is fun and challenging and takes up most of my time. I am still open to home-based part-time/freelance/consultancy opportunities in science/healthcare/tech (max 5 h/week)***------My background is in computational techniques applied to drug discovery, ranging from structure- and ligand-based design to chemo- and bioinformatics. I carried out drug discovery projects in both academia (Monash University, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine) and the industry (Eli Lilly UK). In 2014 I have completed a 1-year MSc in Drug Design at University College London, expanding my knowledge and hands-on experience on the latest techniques applied to drug discovery. This complemented my previous training in medicinal chemistry (University of Bologna). More recently, I worked full-time at AstraZeneca, initially working on the development of predictive tools for formulation science and on biopharmaceutics modelling, then moving on to mobile health apps and smart devices for the respiratory portfolio. I then joined the Chief Technical Officer team, evaluating emerging technology that could translate into employee-facing or patient-facing solutions.Enough about me, how did you stumble across my profile?
