Advance NSCSS' strategic communications to raise awareness, share the experience of NSCSS' work, and diversify revenue streams to support the needs of our clients and charity. - Identify strategic opportunities to engage community leaders in collaborative efforts to support the Society and end the crisis of violence against women, girls, and gender-diverse (afab) folks.- Act as the Society's project manager and spokesperson for all community engagements- Develop and execute the communication strategies for NSCSSemail: slee@nscss.net

- Focus on 2SLGBTQ+ and Immigrant adults with physical and cognitive disabilities- Offer emotional support via client-centred counselling techniques, provide resource referrals, and psycho-education to support our client development goals- Completed intake/progress notes, psycho-social assessments, and incident documentation, complied with agency policies.

- Facilitate the current year's Strategic Planning to prioritize initiatives that support food insecure families in BC- Advocate for more public support for the Fuel Up School Lunch Program: BC's largest school lunch program for public schools, focused on strengthening food literacy and food security for families with young children, families with disabilities, and immigrant and refugee families ("Fuel Up Families")- Build the company's roster of Canadian non-profit and for-profit partners to elevate menus by carefully selecting kid-friendly and nutritious products- Support Fuel Up Families (with special attention to parents learning English) so they fully leverage the school lunch program- Create the company's first official onboarding process with newly designed materials, and train all senior-level managers to use this new process. This process emphasizes the company's mission and values, the gaps in our food systems, and the de-stigmatization of food insecurity - Serve as the company's media contact for all news, magazines/blogs, and social media features

- Grow 11 industry peer groups to engage 600+ local companies and their staff through regularly scheduled events and online forums.- Responsible for the planning, administration, execution of 110+ events (online and in person) with networking and business development opportunities for Association members.- Create Sponsorship Impact Reports for major events.- Maintain strong relationships with 100+ vendors and sponsors to service seminars, trade shows, Award dinners, and fundraising events.- Develop content for 2 websites, 10+ press releases, social media copy for 4 platforms, and weekly email marketing. - Present for UBC Masters of Food Science students regarding relevant career opportunities in BC, current industry challenges and solutions, and growth opportunities with the Association.

Provide sustainable transport refrigeration options to local food companies that transport temperature-sensitive products; and solar-powered AC units to long-haul truckers.
