As the Sustainability Manager for Compass Group, I lead strategic initiatives to drive environmental stewardship and social responsibility within the University of Sussex community. Leveraging my expertise in sustainability practices, I collaborate with diverse stakeholders to implement innovative solutions that minimise environmental impact and promote sustainable eating on campus.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with organisational goals and industry best practices.- Conduct assessments and audits to identify opportunities for improvement in waste management, reduction of carbon emissions and consumer behaviour changes.- Engage with students, faculty and staff to raise awareness and foster a culture of sustainability through education and training programs.- Track and report on key performance indicators to measure progress towards sustainability objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Nahuala Indómita is a collective that works on making visible the relationship between gender oppression and the destruction of the environment and the differentiated impacts that the climate crisis entails for us. We seek to encourage dialogue by making use of non-violent communication to find collaborative solutions that promote the well-being of all people. The strategies that we have found useful and necessary to develop this are dialogue circles, art exhibits, workshops, intervention of public spaces, digital communication through social media, audiovisual formats such as short videos, which allow bringing people closer to the different environmental and gender issues, and the strengthening of alliances with other environmental groups and feminist collectives.

- Hemerographic review and analysis with a human rights and gender perspective for a project to redesign the routes of the Public Transportation System in the Metropolitan Area of Mérida, Yucatán.- Member of the research group of the 'Initiative for the Yucatán Peninsula and Chiapas (IPYUCC) for reducing information and power asymmetries for indigenous and afromexican people and communities for guaranteeing their participation in development projects' decision-making process'.

I developed a policy agenda proposal for the inclusion of international migrants and refugees in Mexico City. The process of developing the policy agenda required me to design and carry out focal groups and interviews with both migrant population and stakeholders.

I assisted with research regarding the ethical implication of low-cost private education systems in Africa, terrorist violence in Latin America, and electoral volatility in the Mexican context. I also helped with administrative tasks.
