I initiate and write stories about topics including nuclear power in Japan.

I reported my experiment investigating whether visual input aided aural comprehension among undergraduate college students of English as a Second Language. Data show that for intermediate level speakers of English, visual input decreased aural comprehension. Perhaps distraction was the culprit, where aid had been intended.

I coordinated changes to manuscripts, working between the scientist authors and the editors, art department, and proofreaders.

I worked in Tokyo as English instructor at companies who provided classes to employees and at junior high schools as assistant language teacher. I was also responsible for co-creating and updating the company homepage.
