I founded Everyday Feminism, an online platform for people facing everyday violence, discrimination, and marginalization due to their gender, sexual orientation, race, class, size, ability, or other social differences. We help people apply feminism to their real lives in order to work through issues, stand up for themselves, find their own truth, and take collective action.As of August 2014, I've led Everyday Feminism to:- Provide an online magazine, online courses, and speakers bureau.- Develop a base of over 1.5 million visitors per month to our site and over 190,000 Facebook fans.- Lead a paid team of core staff and almost 30 writers - Develop a sustainable earned revenue model by selling online courses and ads- Offer course scholarships so that no one is turned away due to money.I also created and lead the online course, Everyday Self-Love: Turning Self-Love Into A Daily Habit, at Everyday Feminism.
