I planned and wrote the projects submitted to Texas Health and Human Services Commission for funding under two different mechanisms: the Texas Transformation Medicaid 1115 Waiver Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment {DSRIP) program and the Network Access Improvement Program (NAIP). I hired, trained, and managed 24 project managers and supporting staff to implement 43 projects (valued at over $300 million), achieving a milestone completion rate over 40 percentage points higher than the State average. Over 90% of the projects implemented were community-based primary and preventive care projects and have been very successful at reaching the community. For example, as of March 31, 2016, we had served 76,683 individuals through 11 of our DSRIP projects and provided 394,284 patient encounters through 11 other DSRIP projects. Show less
