Sandra S. Liu is Emerita Professor of Public Health. She currently works as adjunct professor for a number of executive MBA programs globally. Dr. Liu has been an author of several books. Her current teaching and consulting work focus on strategic marketing, leadership for change, and business modeling. Dr. Liu also conducts counseling for mental wellness and health. Dr. Liu was elected Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Marketing, one of the founding members of World Marketing Association, together with American Marketing Association, European Marketing Association, and Latin American Marketing Confederation. Prior to becoming an academic in 1990, Dr. Liu had extensive experiences in the pharmaceutical industry in the capacities of research and development, clinical research, and sales and marketing. The geographical areas under her auspices included the national US market and a number of Asian countries/territories, including Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Dr. Liu has since been active in conducting consultancy and executive training programs in Asia, Europe, and the US, such as 3M (Hong Kong), China Hospital Association and Bayer Healthcare (China), Wishard Health Services (US), Ascension Health (US), St. Catherine Hospital (US), and MDwise (US).Specialties: consumer (patient) value/experience/satisfaction; strategic leadership and marketing, sales management, business modeling and sustainability.
