I left federal service with the equivalent rank of a two-star general.Helping to lead the Washington State Department of Natural Resources in sustainably managing forests, wildfire fighting and improving the health of Puget Sound. As the agency’s communications director and a senior advisor, it was my privilege to work to conserve and protect Washington’s stunning natural resources.Raising awareness of the huge positive impact of The Evergreen State College in our region, including returning $4.5 dollars in economic benefit for every state dollar spent, as vice president for college relations.
