Providing caring for the acutely ill geriatric, adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency and Intensive Care units in a variety of hospital settings in the Vancouver area.

Providing caring for the acutely ill geriatric, adult and pediatric patients requiring invasive monitoring of all Systems.

Management of a total budget of approximately $10M. Management of a 16 bed Emergency department, 10 bed Intensive Care Unit and an Out-Patient Department that performed various clinics.

Responsible for the financial and administrative functioning of a fifteen-bed, level III, Cardiac Surgery ICU/CCU and a seventeen-bed step down SCU (Telemetry Unit). Responsible for education, evaluation, conflict resolution, counseling, and leadership of 95 RN’s in the Adult Critical Care Areas. Budgetary responsibilities shared with Manager.
