Work with the Vice President of Advancement to design, implement, cultivate, evaluate and refine the Seminary's primary fundraising events. Responsible for recruitment and management of volunteers. Fundraising responsiblities to meet established goals.

Consult with business owners on developing new business opportunities through use of creative communication techniques which include, mass marketing on the web, merchandising product, quality improvement to increase market share, achieve awareness of goals through development of effective communication strategies. Served as media consultant and grants coordinator with educational facilities. Clients include HK Group, Lenny's Restaurants, Holly Springs School District, Blackbox Media and Jones Mays Consulting Group.

Develop and direct the implementation of communications plans to support goals for increasing awareness and market share for UTHSC programs, services and support system wide strategic goals. Serve as a primary spokesperson for UTHSC and its entities; serve as the key liaison between UTHSC and government officials, medical community, corporate special events planning; coordinate special events with various media, promoting on a regional level, increasing community awareness and support of UTHSC sponsors, donors, alumni's and their services.

Created effective marketing, public relations strategies and programs to increase visibility within the community. Served as liaison with local and regional media and created/distributed news releases withich included coordinating and supervising press conferences, developing public relations strategies, and acting as spokesperson for MHA/HCD. Special event coordination for MHA/HCD and City of Mrmphis Mayors office.
