- Secretariat of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition to reduce short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) - (http://www.ccacoalition.org/en)- Lead the waste sector expert analysis and advise by providing guidance and assistance to partners on waste-related topics and providing expert input to technical documents and resources on waste.- Raise awareness of the SLCPs of the waste sector through outreach, planning and participation in waste-related events and preparation of communications materials. - Coordinate the CCAC Waste Hub (http://www.ccacoalition.org/waste)- Support the Planning Hub, a collaborative programme aimed at supporting the efforts of CCAC partner countries to scale up action on SLCPs in a coordinated and prioritized way.- Support the partnership and governance of the Coalition- Represent the Waste Hub in waste-related partnerships and initiatives, including Coalición voluntaria de gobiernos y organismos pertinentes para el cierre progresivo de los basurales en América Latina y el Caribe, Prevent Waste, and the Multi-stakeholder Partnership to End Open Burning of Waste.

Providing environmental research and analysis support for a range of domestic and international programs, primarily focusing on solid waste management and climate change mitigation. Specific solid waste management-related topic areas in which I am currently working include material recovery and treatment (source separation, recycling, composting, anaerobic digestion, extended producer responsibility, etc.), waste collection, and improving landfill operations (landfill gas management, leachate management, best management practices). Specific climate change-related topic areas include mitigation of short-lived climate pollutants (including black carbon and methane) from the solid waste sector and the utilization of biogas as a renewable energy source to offset fossil fuels. Also, I conduct research and analysis on electricity markets and renewable energy policy and incentives. I manage projects that involve providing data analysis, stakeholder coordination, training, communications and outreach support for the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA), and international organizations like the Global Methane Initiative (GMI) and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC). I have provided technical support to diverse domestic and international projects for city and national governments, and international organizations like the World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC). This technical support included collecting, organizing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and co-authoring knowledge products.
