Collaborate with Executive Director and oversee all operations for the organization: Talent management, Onboarding and training of new hires, supervision and approval of Payroll Process, review all required reports from foundations, Grants Management. Work with Accounting team on yearly budget, purchasing & accounts payable; participate in quarterly board meetings and projects, contribute to the short and long-term organizational strategies to achieve the Arete mission and vision. Collaborate with Crescent HR team, setting up all associate meetings for their orientation, terms of change in management contracts, and payroll information. Oversee human resource function, including recruiting, training, wage/benefits administration, state, and local labor laws. Ensure efficient payroll processing while liaising with contracted labor agencies. Prepare and submit weekly payroll reports to general manager and department heads on weekly payroll processing as well as audit and review edits. Administration of yearly performance reviews for managers and hourly employees.

Complete required company training for new systems and access with minimal support. Define and lead all operations of HR departments for hotels in NY and NJ under Marriott and DoubleTree by Hilton Brand, including recruitment of open positions to meet staffing requirements. Deliver effective presentations for orientation and onboarding, while serving as an integral part of acquisition/transition team. Develop and implement robust HR strategies for effective management of business changes while maintaining employee engagement. Plan and execute monthly recognition programs, strengthening long-term professional relationships with employees. Manage EID provisioning under Hilton and Marriott brands, manage and create all outlook mailing lists, administrator for all system access requests for Marriott and Hilton systems. Design and execute hourly employee’s total compensation strategy to remain competitive in both markets. Establish and strengthen long-term professional relationships with agencies and their employees.- Accelerated associate engagement score by 95% at LGA and 84% at DoubleTree Fairfield in 2018 by improving communication. - Part of Exec team working with re-branding Crowne Plaza to Double Tree by Hilton in Fairfield, NJ- Responsible for execution of major RIF with WARN notices and severance packages presented to 141 affected associates with over $3.2M budget with Corporate HR- Part of executive team re-opening and re-launching La Guardia after major renovations, under new operational model utilizing vetted employment agencies for labor in operations, including housekeeping, F&B, banquets, and front desk.
