After four years as an assistant editor and then associate editor for a Chappaqua, New York magazine, I was invited to be senior editor for a Colorado Springs faith-based magazine with a subscription base of more than two million. As senior editor, my responsibilities included planning themes, selecting articles, working closely with our freelance writers, editing article content, and writing specialty pieces. In addition, I worked closely with our designer and networked with editors of other faith-based magazines.
