About Sandra Rincon
With 30 years of experience in international education, I've been building global communities by engaging leaders in universities, governmental organizations and companies. I've developed strategies and programs on international alumni and stakeholder engagement, intercultural communication, academic mobility, international marketing, talent recruitment and language learning. This has given me the opportunity to live and work in the Colombia, the Netherlands, Spain and USA. I'm currently completing a PhD. on intercultural competence and social responsibility as pillars to alumni commitment at Tilburg University in the Netherlands and co-authored: Engaging international alumni as strategic partners (NAFSA 2021) and host Brite Ideas, a podcast series for advancement professionals in higher education.I serve as speaker, trainer and adviser to various international organizations: the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Association of International Educators (NAFSA), European Association of International Education (EAIE), Association of Latin American Business Schools (CLADEA) and Nuffic (Organization for internationalization of Dutch education). I've also authored various articles on global stakeholder engagement.
