Control and coordinate the operation of handling equipments in the container yard of the terminal (RTG, Reach Stacker, internal and external trucks).Monitor terminal trucks cycle times, detecting bottlenecks or delays and managing their resolution.Control the movement of containers from/to yard to diferents points of work: ship - yard, truck - yard, warehouse - yard. Manage the efficient utilization of resources in the container yard according to work volumes and terminal goals.

Control the execution of the operations plan provide by Vessel Planner, using Sparcs and all control programs required.Monitor loading and discharging sequences during the operation, complying with the ship's stowage factor, ports of discharge, weight, lengths, and container features.Follow the equipment productivity, detecting bottlenecks, delays, or issues and managing their resolution in coordination with Yard Planner, Vessel Planner, crane operator and operation supervisor.Control the operation by coordinating resources (personnel, cranes, loading equipment, trucks, etc.), identifying operational problems and resolving them promptly, in accordance with port policies and regulations. with a special emphasis on safety and productivity.Check the stowage of the cargo in the container yard and request to the yard planner to make any necessary adjustments according to the loading sequence.

Execute the maritime operations program provided by the Vessel Planner. Select the appropriate gear for the type of cargo, providing all necessary instructions to the stevedores and tallies, to carry out tasks safely and with expected productivity. Interpret loading and discharging plans and give operational instructions to the personnel. Perform berthing and unberting of ships, in comunication with Pilot and Tugboat.Supervise the flow of maritime operations from start to finish through effective coordination of resources (stevedores, STS cranes, loading equipment, container trucks, gear, lashing, etc.), monitoring and providing feedback on operational issues to resolve them as quickly as possible.
