Marketing & Event ManagementPromote the business as well as plan, finalize sales, coordinate and execute events while working closely with clients and vendors to maximize revenue and create opportunities for exposure.

Create, manage and facilitate various committees, teams, and individuals while tracking and monitoring all actions, deadlines and outcomes with database and tracking software programs. Research prospects, develop cultivation plans and produce time sensitive tracking and reporting.Created volunteer recognition and retention plans as well as developed a volunteer handbook, a volunteer training and internal procedures to support it.Raise funds, promote visibility, and increase the agency donor and volunteer base through communication and the creation, management and logistical coordination of special events.

 Counselor and mentor. Facilitate solution-focused life skills plans, lead community meetings and also maintained ongoing relationships with families, community advocates, landlords, social workers and community organizers. Provide intense life coaching and mentoring to teach youth healthy coping skills, model behavior, set goals and empower the young people to take ownership of their goals and progress.

 Recruit, assess, train and motivate current as well as potential volunteers and partners. Develop and implement on-going trainings for new and existing volunteers.  Excellent database management and supervise 400+ active volunteers, 9 community partnerships and over a dozen appointed Liaisons while coordinating volunteers for 5 youth programs. Frequent public speaking to large groups. Lead, coordinate, monitor and track special events, fundraisers and community projects working closely with development to generate event and program funding.
