Definição de procedimentos, uniformização e assessoria na realização das atividades de contratação (Procurement estratégico) e apoio às Unidades Organizativas da EDP Produção em atividades específicas do âmbito dos procedimentos de contratação, tendo em vista o cumprimento dos objetivos definidos, designadamente em termos de prazos e custos. Assessoria às atividades de contratação, a fim de assegurar a minimização do risco, bem como a fixação do conhecimento específico e a obtenção de uma uniformização transversal de práticas. Coordenação da elaboração de propostas de prestação de serviços da EDP Produção, bem como a correspondente gestão comercial de contratos.Colaboração e apoio às Unidades Organizativas da EDP Produção no âmbito de litígios e patrocínio judiciário.

I started my career at EDP Produção in 2009 with a great purpose: help the Company to achieve the biggest hydroelectric project in the history of Portugal. The objective was to build six new hydro power plants until 2020 and, at the same time, to upgrade the hydroelectric capacity of six other existing plants. These projects represent almost 3400 million euros and an addition of almost 3500 MW to the existing hydroelectric capacity.My main assignment is the management of the Venda Nova III repowering plant project. Although, once my Division is a matrix management organization, I occasionally collaborate with other hydroelectric project teams.My key responsibilities are: procurement, bidding process, contract negotiation, project cost, schedule, quality control, contract management, design optimization, risk management, safety and environmental supervision.

Consultant at the Building Physics Laboratory in the field of building pathology, rehabilitation, hygrothermal behavior and energy efficiency in buildings.Main tasks:- Trainer of assessors for the Portuguese energy performance certification of buildings- Author of the ENVOLTERM software which is used to develop thermal behavior studies of buildings- Helped to elaborate about two dozen of energy performance certification of existing buildings- Author of more than 20 reports in the field of pathology and rehabilitation of buildings- Author of several building projects (thermal behavior studies, acoustics, rehabilitation and water supply)
