CEO of SM Salvage, Brazilian Navy Officer (Captain-Rtd), and Administrator with an active CRA-DF. With education from the Naval Academy, a specialization in Mechanical Engineering, and extensive experience in maritime operations, I currently work under an independent contract, providing consulting and operational services for the American company T&T Salvage.I have participated in several maritime operations, the most recent being in 2024, when I was contracted by T&T Salvage to assist in the refloating of a vessel of approximately 300,000 tons in the Port of Açu (RJ). My company, SM Salvage, offers specialized consulting and services in maritime and port operations.In the Navy, I participated in maritime salvage operations for over 20 years and served as a Salvage Officer for six years, coordinating complex operations in collaboration with governmental and private organizations. Additionally, I was an instructor and Director of the Damage Control Training Center, where I taught courses in areas such as Ship Salvage, Damage Control, Sea Survival, and Environmental Protection.As a Project Manager, I led the modernization of strategic equipment for the naval fleet. At the International Affairs Subdivision within the Navy Staff, I managed diplomatic relations with foreign offices in 48 countries and Brazilian offices in 40 countries, playing a key role in international and governmental negotiations.I began my career with an extensive period at sea, serving as Chief Engineer and Executive Officer of various ships. In these roles, I demonstrated leadership skills, administrative capacity, expertise in supply techniques, planned maintenance, and extensive logistical knowledge.Education and Languages: I am fluent in Spanish and English, hold two master's degrees (Naval Sciences in Brazil and Strategic Management in Mexico City), a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from COPPEAD-UFRJ, and several additional courses.
