Leading the daily operations of a building in the center of Athens city, which hosts three embassies - the Embassy of Australia, the Royal Norwegian Embassy, and the Embassy of Finland and 11 multinational companies, including Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG. In total, the building accommodates over 450 employees. Some of my responsibilities regarding the security and operation of the building include:• Training the embassy staff, including the Ambassadors, on issues related to building security and personal safety.• Ensuring that all necessary security measures are in place to protect the embassies facilities from any type of unlawful acts or unwanted visitors.• Handling all security incidents regarding the facilities.• Managing the day-to-day operation of the building in coordination with the Building Manager.• Supervising all staff of the Management Office.• Supervising all maintenance teams on a daily basis to ensure the smooth operation of the building (for all 20,000 m2).• Liaising with State Authorities (Police, Fire Brigade, etc.) regarding building security and safety matters to ensure a smooth building operation.• Handling issues related to access control, including short-term/visitor permit issuance for persons and vehicles, and taking compliance action if Building SOP’s and Security regulations were not followed.• Administer complaints and requests from the building employees or visitors for any type of issue, such as security issues or facility problems.

In my role within the Terminal Services Department at Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" S.A, I was instrumental in supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring exemplary passenger experiences. My key responsibilities included:• Operational Support: Acted as an Assistant to the Terminal Operations Supervisor during shifts, contributing to the effective management and coordination of terminal operations.• Team Coordination: Led the allocation and coordination of terminal agents, optimizing staff positioning to ensure seamless operation of the Main Terminal.• Customer Service Excellence: Delivered high-quality customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and ensuring a positive airport experience.• Emergency and Ad Hoc Response: Skillfully handled ad hoc challenges and emergencies in the Main Terminal, including medical situations and operational disruptions, ensuring swift resolutions and minimal impact on terminal operations.• Information and Assistance: Staffed the airport information desks, providing passengers with vital information about airport facilities, services, and flight details, enhancing passenger satisfaction and facilitating smooth travel experiences.• Call Center Operations: Staffed the airport call center, offering prompt and accurate assistance to callers with inquiries regarding flights, services, and airport navigation.

In my role at Athens International Airport 'Eleftherios Venizelos' S.A., within the Airport Services Operation Center (ASOC), I specialized in Stand, Gate, and Counter Allocation, and served as a Flight Data Specialist. My responsibilities encompassed multiple critical areas, ensuring the efficient and safe flow of airport operations:• Efficient Allocation: Strategically allocated and managed check-in counters, boarding gates, and aircraft parking stands, optimizing space and resources in alignment with flight schedules, airline needs, and aircraft specifications. This required a deep understanding of daily flight dynamics and operational needs.• Flight Data Management: Expertly decrypted encrypted, confidential messages concerning flight departures, arrivals, and essential airport security and safety information, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.• Safety Monitoring: Diligently monitored control tower radio frequencies, staying abreast of all flight movements and potential safety issues. This included responding to emergency situations such as Mayday calls, aircraft emergencies, technical malfunctions, medical emergencies, and potential aircraft conflicts, showcasing my ability to maintain calm and deliver solutions in high-pressure scenarios.• Problem Resolution: Addressed and resolved a wide range of ad hoc problems that emerged during shifts, demonstrating flexibility, quick thinking, and a proactive approach to maintaining operational continuity and safety.
