Provided course support and admin services for the college through resolutions of course updates and revisions in Canvas. Assisted with the management of the JIRA ServiceDesk and develop and maintain an Operational Guide to improve efficiency. Setup tools each term in Canvas for various courses. Developed courses using Canvas features, H5P, Frost Designer, and CidiLabs with a focus on innovation.

In my 6 year tenure with SCC, I developed a deep appreciation for the ability to collaborate interdepartmentally to achieve institution-based goals. Through these collaborative efforts, I provided support to faculty of all levels regarding in-person, hybrid, and virtual instruction. I was an active member of the Curriculum Committee, wherein I regularly attended meetings for the betterment of current processes and course/program projects. I maintained a high level of success regarding deadlines surrounding all projects I partook in. In addition to my experience as an Instructional Technology Designer, I also served as a Course Reviewer for Quality Matters for CPE/Publisher courses since 2019; performed course evaluation for continuous upholding of QM standards and accuracy.Some of my proudest achievements while under this title included...• Played a critical role in securing a captioning grant from Minnesota State by being the project lead for a workgroup that created a formal process for captioning course videos and identifying/captioning existing course videos• Used project management and course design skills to develop a orientation and onboarding project for new faculty that resulted in a course in D2L Brightspace with modules on foundational teaching and learning topics

Facilitated two after-school clubs for middle school students using Minecraft Education Edition on iPads to teaching coding skills.

During my time within Waseca Community Education, I participated in regular research studies regarding current technological trends to be shared with colleagues and faculty members. These efforts helped the presented curriculum to stay relevant within the technological field, producing outstanding academic results for its students. I was able to pivot my teaching style to fit the needs of a multitude of instructional settings such as whole group, small group, and one-on-one. I designed and facilitated courses on Introductory Computer Skills, iPads, and Microsoft Software.

For three years I was the Lead Support within Waseca Public Schools wherein I helped teachers and other associated faculty with various tech support. I managed email and print servers, as well as the mobile devices using a Mobile Device Management system (Maas360). I possessed a strong ability to identify and troubleshoot problems in a proficient manner helping to alleviate any further tech issues from arising.
