As part of the brand and creative team for a global data, analytics and artificial intelligence company, I edited content to adhere to company voice and brand guidelines. I worked on website copy, e-books, product announcements, ad copy, campaign promo briefs, B2B and marketing copy, white papers, customer stories, case studies, event copy and more.

• Wrote and edited customer-facing movie and TV show synopses in a variety of styles for multiple platforms. Was the synopsis writer for some of Netflix’s highest-profile original shows, including “The Crown,” “Grace and Frankie” and “House of Cards.” • Wrote experimental synopses in various styles and lengths (from 25 to 500 characters).• Managed workflow for shows with weekly releases of episodes, requiring tight turnaround times to coordinate synopsis writing and editing.• Trained new writers and editors in Netflix voice and style and taught them how to use our online tools.• Created and facilitated a long-running series of fun training sessions on various aspects of creative writing to improve the Product Writing team’s style and as team-building sessions.• Established and facilitated additional team-building sessions during the pandemic, including weekly virtual coffee breaks/discussions and virtual team creative writing sessions.• Created and led a series of small, focused discussion sessions to strengthen editor-writer collaboration on the team.• Coached team members individually and in small groups to help improve their writing skills.
