I initially started my career in sales, where I was relied on to manage hundreds of accounts as the main sales and customer service contact. Soon thereafter, I went back to school and obtained my second BS, this time in Nursing. I have spent the majority of my nursing career expanding and growing my ICU skill set. I am very autonomous and adaptable, as I have done many contract positions that include frequent floating to accommodate facility needs. While at my core I consider myself an ICU nurse, I have had the opportunity to expand my skillset beyond critical care. I have worked in the ER, Pediatric ICU and multiple Trauma hospitals. I have had the privilege of helping open a brand new, state of the art surgery center, and currently, I am getting to sharpen and utilize my recovery skills working in the PACU. I look forward to seeing where my next opportunity takes me.
