Responsible for all daily flight crew communication and handling of flight logistics, provide flight crews with accurate trip sheets and timely changes, communicate all operational and logistical events for flight crews, arrange ground transportation, hotel accommodations allowing adequate rest, arrange commercial airline travel for pilots positioning to and from program aircraft, responsible for flight following, tracking flight positions, and initiating search and rescue procedures, set up US and International Customs via calls and sending required paperwork, set up airport slot reservations, ensure airports used meet the minimum requirements for safe operations, ascertain the deicing capabilities of scheduled airports and facilities when needed and coordinate with Scheduling and flight crews to make a final determination of the feasibility of proposed flights with respect to ground deicing needs, briefing incoming shift of daily flight details, tasks assigned by manager.
