• Manage materials in accordance with forecast and customer demands while maintaining ITO objectives.• Manage purchasing activity to ensure quality, delivery, and pricing meet business requirements.• Request quotes, analyze bids and negotiate purchase contracts.• Support of key internal customers; Production, Research & Development, Accounting, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering.• Manage communication and feedback, and participate in and support supplier management audits. Achieved 2% annual cost savings.• Work with R&D to find new, replacement and materials needed for projects and manufacturing.• Prepare purchase orders for production as planned by Dynamics/Oracle ERP/MRP. • Prepare purchase orders for R&D required materials as provided by requisitions.• Purchase production supplies and equipment as specified by the requisitions. • Track status of outstanding purchase orders and expedite as appropriate.• Resolve invoicing and receiving error discrepancies.• Process Non-conforming materials for credit or replacement.• Select and qualify suppliers as necessary. • Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assesscompleteness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.• Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders todetermine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities.• Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production and engineering.• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.• Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.• Contact suppliers to verify shipment details.• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability and the supplier's reputation and history.• Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.• Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.

• Handle procurement for released products, specials, Engineering and Service Requirements.• Review procurement requests, prepare and issue purchase orders.• Purchase necessary parts for all specials, engineering projects, pre-production and other departments as needed.• Work with engineering for all ECN (Engineering Change Notices) Updating ERP system, notifying vendors, sending parts out for rework, etc.• Answer questions or resolve issues related to inventory to ensure customer needs are met. • Maintain minimum and maximum quantities on all inventory for ITO purposes.• Vendor management, including price negotiations.• Excellent communication skills across departments and with vendors.• Maintain files of purchase orders, contracts, bids and agreements.
