The purpose of the Mid Anastasia Design Review Board is to protect natural resources, maintain and enhance the diverse and unique character of the Mid-Anastasia Overlay District and achieve specific goals and objective of the St. Johns County Comprehensive Plan. The Design Review Board's (DRB) primary responsibility is to determine compliance with Part 3.08.00 Mid-Anastasia Overlay District of the St. Johns County Land Development Code, Ordinance 99-51, as amended.

The Sierra Club is a national organization dedicated to Enjoying, Exploring and Protecting the Planet. It is the oldest, largest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. The local Northeast Florida Group organizes and participates in outdoor adventures, environmental education, and local environmental activities. We also lobby our local and state government for pro-environmental policy and legislation. We have over 5,000 members and supporters in Duval, St. Johns, and northeast Clay Counties in Florida.

The mission of CSUF’s Real Estate and Land Use Institute (RELUI) is: ‘to promote and advance real estate education at CSUF, including research, curriculum, program reputation, student placement, and outreach to the local business community.” During her tenure, Sandy was instrumental in initiating a number of new relationships with real estate organizations such as local branches of the Appraisal Institute (AI), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the Urban Land Institute and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) in order to widen the focus of career options from property management. In addition, other activities of RELUI included: - Hosting RELUI's signature event, the Commercial Real Estate Forum. Successes include increased sponsorships and profit each year. Up to ten students were invited to attend each year.• Sponsoring students to attend a two-day ARGUS software training (held annually or semi-annually) to become certified in this industry standard commercial real estate management and valuation software. • Hosting, together with the CSUF Careers Services, a semi-annual a Real Estate panel for business students to learn about real estate from local industry expert panelists selected from a broad spectrum of real estate specialty fields.•Managing the Board of Advisers: hosting semi-annual meetings, identifying new members, planning for the annual Commercial Real Estate Forum and identifying speakers, reporting RELUI achievements and activities, etc.
