I am Retired Correctional Deputy Warden who served for 35 years, with 27 of those as a Deputy Warden in Arizona and Connecticut. I was initially hired as a Correctional Service Officer in Arizona, promoted to Sergeant after a year and three months, quit to sell 5,000 parabolic solar water heaters for about 6 months then returned to corrections and promoted to Counselor, Lieutenant and Deputy Warden, skipping two ranks, Captain and Major because I had the highest score in the state for the Deputy Warden exam. Prior to entering corrections I worked two and three jobs at a time, in the restaurant industry to pay for college. I worked as a busboy, waitress, cocktail waitress and bartender. I primarily worked lunch, dinner on weekends, special events and banquets. Places include the Seventh Veil, Gregory's Penthouse, Gregory's Grand Avenue, Phoenix Country Club, Paradise Valley Country Club, Monte's La Casa Vieja, Rustler's Roost and Macayos. Since retirement I have been occupying my time with church, golf, gardening, volunteer work and travel. I would like to use my knowledge, skills and abilities to do contract work for individuals and public and private organizations to conduct audits, complete projects, determine future endeavors, develop policy, train staff, or anything else that we agree to do to benefit the staff and further enhance the vision, goals and purposes of the organization.
