-Manage and oversee global transformation of outdated legacy Merrill Lynch Equities technology platforms (includes Sales & Research, Prime, Swaps, Global Securities Lending and Equities Sales/Program Trading) leading efforts to develop a global technology strategy and roadmap to simplify, streamline the platform to provide more efficient and innovative solutions.-Lead global digital innovation program using gaming technologies for a more immersive client experience for viewing trading strategies, risk, reporting etc.-Manage all risks for the program and report up to the CIO monthly program status and financial impacts to budget which includes cost for decommissioning, costs for new build (for forecasted budget and actuals) and any cost savings by retiring outdated, duplicative systems (software, hardware, licensing). -Managed global team of business analysts and project managers for the following areas: -Global Product Controllers / Middle Office (Equities, Fixed Income, Prime Services) - P&L systems and MIS consolidation systems.-Global Regulatory Reporting - automated monthly Product Controller submissions for Capital Charges/ratios, automating FED reports (monthly/quarterly reports of client holdings for the FED suite of TIC reports), and automation of Pillar 3 disclosures.-Global Risk Control – centralized CSE / Basel II (Consolidated Supervised Entity) data globally to reconcile Lehman Risk systems to Books and Records, created front end web system to control and maintain Product Controller sign-off/commentary/adjustments for VaR back-testing. -Identified process improvements/efficiencies and worked with the business users and technology initiating a plan/project for execution.-Designed and implemented CSE application which compared global Lehman Risk to Books/Records to reconcile positions/market value to satisfy regulatory requirements. Other key implementations include Finance Portal (MIS reporting tool which has a consolidated view of global revenue, client revenue, balance sheet and Lehman Risk data for senior management). -Provided global systems governance to ensure there were adequate controls in place for proper audit trail (as required by SOX, Basel II, CSE) for all processes and the systems that support them. -Assisted Data Management team in the Firm Accounts Renovations project to standardize and streamline Firm accounts (Trading/Banking Books) into one central database.-Monitored and tracked all project plans to ensure deadlines are met for global deliverables.-Implemented new global support model which incorporates CMT into the support rota to re-divert developers to focus more effort on development.
