BACK TO HEART CENTER offers a grounded, practical approach to Reiki energy healing. We offerer traditional, in-studio Usui Reiki treatment sessions and HeartMath® coaching in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.Classified by the National Institute of Health as a form of complementary medicine, Reiki is a clinically used hands on method of healing and relaxation that originated in Japan at the turn of the last century. Reiki was brought to the west in the 1930s and has been used in hospitals and clinics throughout the US ever since. In clinical settings, it works as a compliment to a wide variety of medical and other therapeutic treatments, relieving side effects, accelerating recovery time, and reducing pain. As a daughter/mother team, whose family has been challenged by chronic illness, we care deeply about supporting adults, teens, and kids struggling with anxiety, burnout, stress, insomnia, Lyme disease, end-of-life challenges, and more, as well as those wishing to accelerate or augment traditional therapies of any kind. LULU XX is a cross-media performance, devised by WaxFactory's co-founders Ivan Talijancic and Erika Latta. Inspired by German playwright Frank Wedekind's timeless female protagonist, this production challenges the idolatry and misoginy of the male gaze in artistic representation of women, exposing its conflicting tendencies. Production coordination and stage management through two development residencies at Montclair State University and Wexner Center for the Arts, in Columbus, OH and the subsequent world premiere of the work as a part of the Peak Performances series on April 11, 2019.

Direction, management and programming of 50,000-square-foot facility for theater, dance, music, and the visual arts and its two performance venues; the 300-seat McConnell Theater and the 90-seat Liebowitz Studio Theater. Responsible for all daily operations, budget management, staffing, scheduling, publicity, promotion and for the successful production of nearly 100 public and College events per year. Serving on the College’s Council for Equity and Inclusion, Regional Outreach Strategy Committee and Emergency Preparation Committee.

Established and ran a summer facilities rental program for outside groups, which grossed over $300K in its first year. Duties included soliciting group rentals, scheduling, contract negotiations, and oversight of each group’s integration into the campus, in collaboration with Physical Plant, Campus Housing, Dining Services, The Athletic Center, College Administration and the Provost. Received the 2015 Bard College at Simon's Rock Gregory Rhodes Award, in recognition of “service above and beyond the call of duty.”

Developed and taught courses, tutorials and independent studies in Theatre Production and Stage Management. Advanced and oversaw the production of all main stage Theatre Program and senior thesis productions. Supported graduating students in career development.

Abdoh died of AIDS in 1995 at the age of 32 having created an impressive body of stage spectacles known for their sensory overload, ferocious energy and hallucinatory dreamscapes. Abdoh was an enigmatic and prolific creative force and with his company, Dar A Luz, formed in 1991, he created productions that have made a major impact on experimental theatre worldwide and whose influences are still being felt and talked of to this day.
