When I started YES Energy Mgmt (Yardi) in 12/2015 I was an Accounting Manager. In less than a year I was moved to the strategic team and promoted to Technical Account manager. Then in May 2017 I was sent to Colorado for a week of UEM implementation training. UEM Is Utility Expense Mgmt which is basically processing high level utility accounts payable.With my 20+ years of accounting experience I came back to San Diego and began to implement properties for multiple high profile Property Management Companies on the west coast.I have implemented over 40 UEM properties into Yardi's Accounting program in the last 6 months as well as processing over 5000 invoices per month. I was able to do this because of my extensive business/accounting experience. Because of my strong auditing skills and customer service dedication my team was able to maintain a profitable relationship with a specifically large client, they decided to bring on 30 properties which I am implementing for UEM. After implementation I would also Launch all the properties which consists of working closely with the client's accounting team and the utility providers to ensure all addresses are updated and previous balances tie to the general ledgers.Energy Star is a new energy reporting requirement for utility usage and management for commercial and rental properties. Currently Los Angeles has the first upcoming deadline so I have been processing the documentation needed for benchmarking. The amount of organization required for the initial setup of Energy Star is extensive. The team I am working with is based in Atlanta GA.No one likes to lay off team members, and no one likes to be laid off. It's a part of reality and how we choose to react is up to us!Let's chat.
