My goal is to make a difference in the lives of individuals that I come in contact everyday; either through my various jobs, at the farm or at the store.I am a farm girl. I understand the challenges of rural America. I grew up on a dairy farm and married a pork producers. I have been around the farm my entire life. I am the Housing Counseling Coordinator for ERBA. I oversee the housing counseling department managing budgets, secure several grants and fee for service programs. Our house in counseling department has grown 45 clients to over 1300 clients in education and services with the addition of three counselors. I am a HUD-certified counselor, Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP) and Professional Certificate of Homeownership Counseling for Program Managers. I am on the Governors Community Advisory Council Interagency Taskforce with the Office to End Homelessness. . I spoke at the National Community Action Partnership Conference in New York 2022.I have a passion for fighting for the underdog. My secret power is prayer.
