Co created the Ghetto Method with David Guy (traveller events) in 2005 to provide an umbrella organisation to bring together individual artists, designers, musicians, djs and other performers.This hub created the foundation and support for many smaller local creative enterprises, and established a national profile for the GMC arts collective.The GMC music events also hosted a range of groundbreaking gigs, parties and club nights between 2006-09 featuring the likes of Black Affair, Peanut Butter Wolf, Akil the MC (Jurassic5) and many more. The Ghetto Method Godfathers DJs are still playing out across the country and have provided support for the likes of DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Raj Pannu (coldcut), Baron Zen, Gilles Peterson, Ed Rush, Mary Ann Hobbs, Altern8 and many more...Currently the GMC (ghetto method crew) undertake art commissions and are bookable via email at methodlounge@hotmail.com or 07894193632Previous clients include The Guardian, Reebok, ITV, Fantazia and even a royal commission in Brazil.

I joined the CoMusica team at The Sage Gateshead (now Glasshouse) in 2005 as the project leader for the Gateshead area of their regional work. I quickly began introducing new styles of work which included the creation and delivery of accredited music training and a more contemporary slant on the range of genres being offered.From 2006 I began to create new events and performance opportunities for young people including the highly succesful Dex Factor and Bass Bounce events, as well as providing guidence and leadership on the existing youth events.In 2008 I saw the potential to expand the program further and include creative arts alongside the music provision. This led to a number of new and exciting projects including working with Northumbria Police and Nexus to provide safe graffiti opportunities for young people, and setting up the North of Englands largest legal graffiti wall.After establishing the Arches space at the rear of The Sage Gateshead building in 2009 we were able to find a home for the cross arts program and also an opportunity for a new E2E project for NEET young people (16-18) delivered in partnership with Rathbone. This project ended in July 10 but we successfully won the contract for Foundation Learning delivery which continues to date at The Sage Gateshead site and has now expanded into Middlesborough, Co. Durham and plans for South Shields.

I set up as a sole trader, and started to develop music training ideas with contracts from DRI ltd and Newcastle City Council.Based at the legendary "Uncle Sams" recording studio, and satalite "Basement Project" studio in Cowgate, I developed creative engagement programmes working closely with EWOs, local schools, ISSP and PRU centres.The success of the training led to national accreditation (initially through NEOCN) and resulted in me being part of the panel pushing DJ skills as a GCSE music module. This was recognised in 2006.
