Sandra (Sandy) Elder is a senior information technology executive with more than 25 years of experience in the areas of cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Business Continuity and e-Discovery. Prior to joining Syntenex Corporation, Mrs. Elder served as the Vice President of Information Technology and Digital Forensics Investigations at Credence Corporation, as well as the Senior Vice President of Global I.T. Operations at the Phorsite Group in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, Mrs. Elder was responsible for leading the Phorsite Group’s global Information Security Services and Technology Division which supported more than 1800 employees and 12,000 clients worldwide.Mrs. Elder has also been an outspoken advocate for disadvantaged socio-economic background countries in the areas of Digital Forensics Educative Initiatives, the Convergence of Information Technology and Physical Security Paradigms, as well as Product and Corporate Development. She is an active participant in organizations devoted to the advancement of digital forensics and information security; as well as those organizations combating child exploitation and financial crimes worldwide. Mrs. Elder also served as a Special Agent in the United States Secret Service. During her tenure with the U.S. Secret Service, Mrs. Elder received her certification as a Computer Forensics Analyst and became a member of the Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program (ECSAP). Mrs. Elder conducted over 1350 digital forensic examinations in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and the U.S. Virgin Islands, resulting in 20% reduction of White-Collar Crimes and Crimes against Children. Mrs. Elder has also conducted criminal investigations in the areas of Access Device Fraud, Financial Crimes, International Communications Fraud, and Presidential Threats through electronic communications. Mrs. Elder has taught highly technical subjects, to include computer forensics, computer science and criminal justice at the University of Phoenix and Corinthian Colleges, Inc., respectively. Mrs. Elder has also received training in the Digital Evidence Acquisition Specialist Training Program, Seized Computer Evidence Recovery Specialist Training, Access Data Forensic Tool Kit (FTK), EnCase Forensic Evidence Recovery System, Paraben, SafeBack, Statistical Analysis System (SAS) Programming, Application Development, Reconfiguration of Systems’ Infrastructure, and WANG Systems Management from Lightspeed NVS Corporation in Houston, Texas.
