Human connection is at the heart of all successful transformation: what people understand, they can action. Therefore, having an adaptable, creative, problem solving approach and the right attitude is vital. Having worked across a wide variety of industries (travel, fine art auctions, chemical and financial) and within many areas (HR, IT, Digital) has enabled me to fine tune universal theories and processes to anticipate typical friction points irrespective of localised nuances to avoid stereotypical solutions. Working in the ‘unknown’ and formulating the necessary change required, rather than ‘maintaining the status quo’, is my comfort zone.Effective stakeholder engagement and customer centricity is core to all of the projects I have been involved in delivering. Change, after all, is delivered by high performing teams and the best teams are cognitively diverse with clear 360 degree communication, which is something I drive organisations to focus on.Change management does not always have the responsibility of direct reports, but critical to success is finding ways to influence, motivate and mentor individuals. Fulfilling this whilst demonstrating empathy towards the individuals going through their own personal change, ensures the end goal is positively received and adopted long term.
