My lifelong career in the hospitality industry started in my parent's hospitality business of owning and managing a meeting facility. After earning a BS in Business Administration, I followed my passion for meeting planning into Human Resources at Bank of America. Since 2001, I've worked as an independent consultant for HelmsBriscoe, building my client base consisting of state and national associations, corporations and non-profit organizations. I am responsible for managing the site selection and hotel contract negotiations for my clients' conferences, conventions and meetings. My clients know me as a dedicated and trusted team member that strives to ensure that every event is successful by applying my many years of industry knowledge, contract language expertise and long-standing and respected hotel relationships across all hotel brands. My clients know first-hand the value that HelmsBriscoe's no-cost services offer them and they often refer me to prospective clients who are looking for an industry expert that represents the client in finding the best venue at the best price with the most favorable contract terms. I earned the industry's prestigious Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2006 and I've been a HelmsBriscoe top producer every year since 2004.
