Having the honor of leading a nonprofit organization is a challenge that I do not take lightly. There are two things that lead my work on a daily basis. Relationships and collaboration. I am a firm believer that nothing get accomplished without establishing a relationship- whether that is with my team members or the families we work with that are experiencing homelessness or other professionals dedicated to this issue. People do not care about how much you know until they know how much you care.Collaboration also guides my work because poverty and homelessness are complicated issues and requires a collective solution.
