Sandy Hernandez, a Certified State/Local Income Tax Member (CMI) of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT), has over 25 years of experience in federal and state income/franchise, sales/use tax and unclaimed property compliance and consulting services. She has extensive experience in managing large tax return engagements for corporate and flow-through entities in various industries including professional services, entertainment, retail, manufacturing, financial services, and real estate.Sandy has identified and implemented tax planning and credit opportunities for taxpayers with multistate tax liabilities. She also has experience with taxing authorities handling state audits, and has performed due diligence reviews for mergers and acquisitions, nexus reviews and voluntary disclosures.
