I am an environmental scientist committed to helping clients navigate local, state, and federal environmental regulations.My experience includes development of environmental impact analyses to aid local, state and federal decision-making. I serve as a technical subject matter expert on policy, laws, regulations, Executive Orders, and directives related to National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance for transportation infrastructure projects and actions. I began my career in transportation as an environmental manager with the Indiana Department of Transportation. Since then, I have acted as a NEPA subject matter expert in both private and public sectors, aiding in the development of Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments, and Environmental Impact Statements on behalf of, and in cooperation with, such federal agencies as Federal Highway Administration, Federal Transit Administration, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, U.S. Maritime Administration, U.S. Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management. I particularly enjoy the challenge of drawing on knowledge from a broad array of disciplines to balance transportation needs, environmental effects, and public interest during project delivery.
