Within a previous situation I implemented the Scottish Quality Management System and developed positive teamwork and performance, clearer objectives, standards and procedural practice. I also have experience of organising voluntary and work experience placements, employment and training situations for New Deal and unemployed clients throughout Scotland. I am experienced in preparing training plans and personal development plans. I have involved myself with TFW, ETF and Waged Option and FTET clients participating in training situations. I have delivered jobsearch activities, adult learning for clients with literacy and numeracy difficulties and assessed their work towards City and Guilds qualificationsMost of my industrial and sales experience was gained within engineering, the motor trade, clothing manufacture, the food industry to name but a few. I am experienced in most production techniques, assembly and manufacturing processes. My hobbies include home and family activities, music, sport and DIY. I have a full drivers licence, (advanced and competition). I have my skipper’s certificate and participate in competitive sailing. I hold power boat and sailing instructor’s certificates. I am a past sailing club Fleet Captain and Commodore and, as such was responsible for organising events, chairing meetings, sailing instruction and training; liaison with organisations as well as communicating with people from all walks of life. I have experience of fund raising from sponsorship to Sports Awards and Lottery applications. I am a time served engineer and have considerable experience in sales and industry.
