The Merrymakers Association provides nursing homes, assisted living centers, senior centers and veterans homes in Nebraska and Iowa with monthly live professional musical entertainment. Department of Defense, Nebraska Machinery Company, Kiewit Construction, Methodist Hospital, local auto dealers and more. I wrote copy, hired voice talent, helped with editing, financed equipment, paid bills, even worked as a grip, and more.

Executive Assistant to Chairman and CEO, David L. Sokol, of MEHC, a corporation with offices around the globe. Demanding overachieving CEO; a leader in the community, the global energy industry, philanthropy, political issues, sports and investing. Planned all details for quarterly board meetings for VVIPs on-site and off-site meetings and dinner parties and logistics including private jets and ground transport for MEHC (while it was traded on the Big Board - now owned by Berkshire Hathaway) at locales such as: NYSE Board Room, La Costa Spa and Resort (Calif.), Indian Wells (Calif.), the Scottsdale Princess Resort, New York Palace Hotel, Renaissance Esmeralda Resort, Le Cirque (NYC), Le Café de Paris (Omaha), Joslyn Art Museum and more. I left this position to become a full-time mother. I hired my successor.

Worked in City of Omaha Mayor's Office for Mayor P.J. Morgan, who had the highest approval rating in history, as his Correspondence Secretary. Prepared responses to huge influx of mail on a wide variety of subjects. Sorted mail according to subject then prepared responses for mayor's signature utilizing Microsoft Word mail merge. Prepared mayor's schedule collaborating with mayor's scheduler. Helped write proclamations and prepare bullet point remarks and "fact sheets" for mayor's public appearances. Reviewed daily newspapers and clipped items of potential interest to the mayor. Provided constituent service, delegating individual concerns to appropriate department managers.
