• Lead annual merit/promotion/bonus process in Workday, including budget recommendation, Workday configuration and testing, and creating training materials• Participate in compensation surveys and establish regular market benchmarking processes that inform the competitiveness of pay across the organization• Help counsel, communicate, and educate HR Business Partners and managers on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretations, and job evaluations• Participate in salary range development and annual review/updating• Work with finance, accounting, HRIS, and other groups for reporting and data needs• Seek opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions for implementation• Stay abreast on current and emerging market trends to identify potential opportunities and gaps• Manage the upkeep of Workday compensation elements surrounding ranges, targets, and jobs• Perform ad-hoc compensation analysis

● Conduct job evaluations, determine salary grade based on market pricing with compensation software.● Conduct salary surveys (Mercer and Aon Hewitt), budget salary surveys, and benefit surveys.● Subject matter expert for compensation in Workday. Configure, test, and launch annual merit review in Workday for approximately 2,000 employees and generate Total Reward Statements. Maintain/create job codes as well as update compensation tables annually based on budget salary surveys.● Subject matter expert for benefits in Workday. Complete benefit configurations, including building new plans, creating/updating enrollment event rules, benefit group, eligibility rules, and Open Enrollment. Assist with creating Open Enrollment training materials and open enrollment guide.● Maintain and troubleshoot benefit integrations and resolve issues by fixing error messages or researching integration set up.● Develop internal processes based on ease of administration and scalability.● Perform ad-hoc data analyses based on business and Human Resources needs.● Conduct research on market data/best practices, perform data modeling, and make recommendations.

• Create a manual database to track the logistics of the Traveler (contract workers) Program. Create various reports for Administration and HR for visibility on the Traveler Program. Create reports to look at staffing effectiveness for each Resource Analyst. Compile data on staffing for HR and Union requests. Evaluate Job Share requests and approve or deny requests and notify affected parties. • Create work schedules applying Collective Bargaining Agreements rules for over 200 employees. • Analyze data to forecast census and project staffing needs to ensure units are adequately staffed. • Proactively identify staffing needs/issues and create an action plan to address concerns. Closely monitor employee overtime for budgetary reasons. Manage position control and open needs.

• Assist with special projects to ensure tasks are completed before the consolidation of HR.• Work with corporate office to standardize the administration of evaluations from paper forms to online forms on Taleo PSDP. • Assist with the transition of employees from one Sutter affiliate to the East Bay Region by providing reports and analysis on the financial impact on employees. • Assist with position control process with Finance and HR to ensure positions posted are within financial budget. Complete various reports as requested.

• Serve as a lead and resource to staff in the Service Center. Monitor and assigns work as appropriate. Assist a staff of 10,000 employees and managers in the Sutter Health East Bay Region regarding benefits, compensation, and online job posting application Taleo. Manage changes in HRIS (Lawson), including personnel action changes, new hire record creation, as well as data entry for performance evaluations and licensures. Manage and send out correspondences regarding benefit enrollment requests in the online benefits system Vbas. Manage online job postings in Taleo, including creating templates for positions, auditing the requisition before posting the job online, and running ad hoc reports for managers and employees. Research and complete spreadsheet for union pay increase each pay period. Complete licensure compliance report 3 times a month. Assist in the annual health fair at 3 campuses.
